Seville Cathedral

Seville Cathedral, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals built in the Middle Ages, is one of the most famous landmarks in Spain and Seville. The cathedral was constructed between 1401 and 1519, following the fall of Al-Andalus. It was built on the site of the old mosque of Seville, originally erected by Abu Yaqub Yusuf al-Mansur.

Seville Cathedral is an artistic masterpiece characterized by its beauty and intricate details. When you look at it from the inside, you'll be captivated by the extensive use of gold engravings, which are truly mesmerizing. You can also spot remnants of the mosque's columns upon which the cathedral stands, and the mosque's minaret, which was transformed into the cathedral's tower, rising to a height of 100 meters. Even from the outside, you can see parts of the mosque and its dome, especially when viewed from above.

The cathedral offers guided tours that take you through its history and showcase its breathtaking beauty.
