Kasbah of the Udayas

The Kasbah of Oudaias stands as one of the most significant historical landmarks in Morocco, located in the city of Rabat. The area holds numerous Andalusian influences, originally serving as a fortified citadel. It was constructed during the Almoravid era by Yusuf ibn Tashfin between the years 1009 CE and 1106 CE. Its importance increased during the Almohad era, and they renamed it "Al-Mahdiya," reconstructing it and restoring its vitality.
