Cagaloglu Bath

The Cağaloğlu Hammam (Turkish: Cağaloğlu Hammamı) is a historic bathhouse located in the Eminönü area of Istanbul, within the Turkish Republic. It was built in the mid-17th century, precisely in 1719, during the reign of Sultan Mahmud I. The same location previously housed Ibrahim Pasha al-Nurshi's palace, which was converted into a hammam after a fire broke out in the palace in 1740.

Cağaloğlu Hammam is considered the last large hammam constructed during the Ottoman era. In its center, there is a large fountain made from a single piece adorned with three magnificent and precious mosaic floors. The hammam is topped by one large dome supported by four giant pillars, surrounded by seven smaller domes.

Inside Cağaloğlu Hammam, there is a separate hot section, which has a massive dome held by eight pillars adorned with Ottoman inscriptions.

Hammam Services: The hammam offers various services to visitors, such as steam baths, regular baths, massages, and other amenities.
