Istiklal Avenue is located in the Taksim area of Istanbul, Turkey, and is one of the most popular and attractive streets for tourists and visitors from around the world.

One of the notable features of Istiklal Avenue is the historic "Tünel," one of the oldest mass transit systems in the world. It also houses one of the earliest cable cars used for transportation in the past, which was modernized with a new cable car system at the beginning of 2014.

The avenue is renowned for its numerous commercial stores, hosting a wide array of famous international brands such as Nike for sportswear, Polo for modern clothing, Diesel for perfumes, and many others.
