The Turkish Calligraphy Museum is one of the most beautiful museums in Istanbul and the only one of its kind in Turkey. The museum was established in 1968.

The museum houses a section dedicated to the memoirs of Sultan Abdul Hamid II, Sultan Ahmed III, and Sultan Mahmud II. It also features a throne made of rosewood belonging to Sultan Abdul Hamid II.

Additionally, the museum showcases various embroidered Ottoman garments, antique handicrafts, and Arabic calligraphy written on fabrics. It is divided into several halls, each focusing on different aspects of art. There is a section for textiles, carpets, decorations and paintings, and another section for sacred relics.
