Oslo Sculpture Park "Vigeland"
Vigeland Sculpture Park is one of the most important gardens in the world, located in the city of Oslo, the capital of the kingdom of Norway. What distinguishes this park is its uniqueness, unlike anything else. The idea for the park was conceived by the renowned artist Gustav Vigeland. The concept was to create an open park for everyone to view the sculptures of the late artist instead of holding an exhibition for them. He obtained the government's permission in 1907 and began the project. The project gained admiration from many governments around the world at that time, but they lacked similar capabilities to the late artist's, so the project wasn't executed elsewhere.
Initially, Vigeland Sculpture Park consisted of several sculptures in a small garden. However, the project continued for about forty years. Over time, Vigeland Sculpture Park has become one of the largest gardens of this kind of art. It features numerous sculptures by the great artist Gustav Vigeland and some other artists. Notably, some sculptures took around 14 years to complete, showcasing the high level of intricacy and beauty in these sculptures. Additionally, there's a bridge in the park that also showcases a variety of carvings and stretches for about 100 meters in the center of the park.
