Kuwait Zoo

Kuwait Zoo was established in Kuwait City in 1968 and covers an area of 180,000 square meters. Over the years, the zoo has undergone continuous development and expansion to become what it is today.

Tourism and Entertainment Destination

Kuwait Zoo is one of the most important tourist and entertainment destinations in Kuwait. It houses more than 1600 different species of animals, including some rare ones. Additionally, the zoo has over 168 species of birds and mammals. The zoo also includes a cultural center and a veterinary clinic. Visitors can find restaurants, gift shops, fast food outlets, and beverage kiosks in the zoo.

Exploring the Zoo

Kuwait Zoo offers visitors the opportunity to stroll on foot and enjoy the beautiful scenery while observing the animals. There is also a special train ride that takes visitors on a complete tour around the zoo.

The zoo is open daily from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, except on Sundays.
