Green shrine

The Green Mausoleum is located opposite the famous Green Mosque in Bursa, Turkey. It was built in 1422 by Sultan Mehmed I, who was later buried there along with many of his sons and family members. The mausoleum was constructed by the most skilled builders and engineers of that era and is named "The Green Mausoleum" due to the green tiles that cover the place and the green spaces surrounding the mausoleum from various directions.

The Green Mausoleum is distinguished by its octagonal dome, built in the Seljuk style, and its intricate and elaborate details. The scattered inscriptions on its walls create an artistic and architectural masterpiece in every sense.
