Victory Column

The Victory Column (Siegesäule) was built in Berlin in July 1873 and has become one of the famous landmarks in the city.

Designed by Heinrich Strack, the Victory Column commemorates Prussia's victories in its wars against France, Austria, and Denmark. Later, a bronze statue of Victoria was added to the column, standing at a height of 8.5 meters.

The Victory Column has become a popular tourist attraction, drawing visitors from all around the world. The area surrounding the column is known for housing some of the most renowned international restaurants and cafes. The column stands amidst vast green spaces, making it a pleasant place for leisurely strolls. Visitors can climb its spiral staircase and enjoy a panoramic view of Berlin from the top.

  • Saturday and Sunday: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
