flowers Garden

The Flower Garden, situated within the grounds of Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, is a public garden adorned with captivating flowers. Opened in 1820, this garden has retained its mesmerizing charm to this day. The location of the garden was carefully chosen, occupying the same spot that was once ravaged by Napoleon's army during the war, in order to preserve an everlasting memory. The design of the Flower Garden was inspired by the renowned Luxembourg Gardens in the French capital, Paris.

The garden is brimming with various types of flowers, offering tranquil places for sitting and relaxation amidst the enchanting natural surroundings. Scattered throughout are meticulously sculpted fountains, some of which are as old as 300 years. Ducks and wild ducks grace the lakes and ponds, while several cafes are nestled within the garden, providing the perfect spot to enjoy your coffee surrounded by nature.
