Greco-Roman Museum

The Greek-Roman Museum is one of the most important museums located in the city of Alexandria in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The museum houses artifacts discovered in Alexandria and the surrounding cities. It is believed that the exhibited items date back to the Ptolemaic and later Roman periods.

The museum is one of the oldest in Egypt and was opened in the 19th century, specifically in the year 1892. It features 22 halls, each showcasing different types of sculptures. As you enter each hall, you'll find a panel with information about the exhibited pieces. One notable example is Hall 13, known as the Roman Military Hall. Here, you can observe statues of Roman leaders adorned in military attire from that era, among other captivating halls.
