Palace of Versailles - A Historic French Landmark

The Palace of Versailles is one of the most significant palaces in French history, situated in the Versailles region near the capital city of Paris. It was constructed in the 17th century, precisely in 1682, during the reign of King Louis XIV, also known as Louis the Fourteenth.

Facilities of the Palace:

The Palace of Versailles consists of three floors and several adjacent and facing buildings. It boasts over two thousand mirrors that span the entire palace's sides. The palace's facade reaches an impressive height of approximately 80 meters. Inside the palace is the famous Hall of Mirrors, containing 17 arches adorned with mirrors, with each arch featuring 21 mirrors reflecting light onto the windows overlooking the gardens. Additionally, the palace contains private rooms for Louis XIV and his wife, as well as chambers for the nobles, valuable delicate pieces, and rare paintings that are one-of-a-kind throughout history. The palace is surrounded by an extensive and stunning garden filled with beautiful fountains, numbering up to 50, including the famous Apollo Fountain made of pure gold, along with exquisite sculptures from various eras.

The Palace is open daily except on Mondays, from 08:00 AM to 05:30 PM.
