Palace of Culture and Science

The Palace of Culture and Science is one of the most important buildings in the city of Warsaw. It stands as a prime example of Stalinist architecture, designed by the renowned Russian architect Lev Rudnev between 1952 and 1955. The palace is among the tallest buildings in Poland, reaching a height of 230.5 meters, and it ranks as the fourth tallest building in Europe. It consists of 42 floors and houses essential cultural, educational, and entertainment institutions in Warsaw.

The Palace of Culture and Science hosts various educational institutions, including the Technological Palace Museum, which presents the history of the city using modern techniques and multiple languages. It also features several cafes and recreational facilities for both children and adults. Once the journey through technology and history is complete, visitors can ascend to the 30th-floor terrace at a height of 114 meters, providing a beautiful panoramic view of the city.
