Kuwait Towers from the inside
The Kuwait Towers are three towers overlooking the Arabian Gulf coast. They are located on Arabian Gulf Street in the capital city of Kuwait, opposite the iconic Seif Palace. The idea for designing the towers was initiated in 1963, but they were officially opened in 1979. The concept behind the towers was to symbolize the urban and economic development witnessed by the country during that period.
Interior and Exterior of Kuwait Towers:
The Kuwait Towers are divided into three towers: the main tower, the middle tower, and the smaller tower. The main tower rises to an elevation of 187 meters above sea level and features two spheres. The first sphere's height is about 82 meters and houses one of the city's most famous restaurants with a magnificent view. Additionally, it includes a hall for hosting events and occasions and a public café. The second sphere, towering above at 120 meters, is a revolving ball that completes a full rotation every half-hour, offering a panoramic view of the city. It is equipped with several telescopes for observing Kuwait's details, as well as a gift shop and a cafeteria.
The middle tower serves as a water reservoir, designed to hold approximately one million cubic gallons of water. The smaller tower is responsible for illuminating the two main towers using spotlights installed on its sides.
The Kuwait Towers have become an iconic landmark in the city, attracting both locals and tourists, symbolizing Kuwait's progress and development in the modern era.
