Burj Khalifa:

Burj Khalifa is a skyscraper located in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the tallest man-made structure in the world, standing at a height of 828 meters. Construction of this magnificent architectural piece began in 2004, and the exterior structure was completed in 2009. It was officially opened in 2010.

Naming Reason:

Burj Khalifa is named in honor of the country's ruler, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Record-Breaking Features:

The tower houses the highest observation deck, highest restaurant, highest mosque, and the highest swimming pool, along with several other similar records. Approximately 12,000 workers participated in its construction since its inception in 2004, and its cost reached around 1.5 billion US dollars. Adjacent to the tower is the world's largest smart fountain. The annual New Year celebrations at Burj Khalifa are among the grandest, costing around ten million US dollars for each celebration.

The tower comprises 200 floors, with 160 floors being residential and the rest being commercial. It employs around 15,000 workers and has 57 elevators with a speed of up to 64 kilometers per hour for each elevator.

Burj Khalifa has received numerous Arab and international awards, notably the International Architecture Award in 2010.
