Kaf Ammar Island
Kaf Ammar Island is a small island located in the municipality of Chetaibi, just one kilometer away from the western Gulf beach of Annaba Province. It overlooks the Chetaibi Gulf and the marina of Skikda. The island covers an area of 1.6 hectares, stretching approximately 340 meters in length and about 130 meters in width. It's one of the tourist destinations in the city of Annaba.
Kaf Ammar Island has several unofficial names. It was once known as Saint Pierre Island during the French colonial period. It's also referred to as the Jewel of the Mediterranean Sea or the Island of Dreams, as many people like to call it.
The island stands out with its breathtaking natural beauty, attracting visitors with the enchanting blend of lush greenery and the sea. The island features a small beach with golden sands, perfect for swimming and admired by tourists.
