Kapellbroca Bridge
The Reuss River located in the city of Lucerne in Switzerland is considered one of the most beautiful areas in the city and a major tourist attraction. The area around the Reuss River is filled with contemporary Swiss-designed buildings on both sides of its banks. Additionally, there is a distinctive wooden bridge spanning the river known as the Kapellbrücke or Chapel Bridge, named after the nearby St. Peter's Church.
The Kapellbrücke is the oldest covered wooden bridge in Europe and the oldest surviving wooden bridge in the world. It was built in the year 1356 and serves as a symbol of the city and one of the most important tourist landmarks in the world.
