Prague Zoo

The Prague Zoo is located in the Troja district of Prague. Opened in 1931, it covers an area of 140 acres. The zoo was established with the aim of studying animals and protecting the environment, and it ranks among the top zoological attractions in the city.

Prague Zoo holds prominent positions in the ranking of the world's best zoos. The zoo boasts over 650 species of animals, including approximately 4200 common and rare species.

Some visitors reach the zoo through a boat trip on the Vltava River, followed by an ascent to the zoo on a chairlift, enhancing the enjoyment and entertainment.
