Bourbon tunnel in Naples

The Bourbon Tunnel, also known as the Galleria Borbonica, is a tunnel located beneath the city of Naples in the province of Naples, Italy. The history of its excavation is uncertain, but it's believed to have been dug during World War II. The tunnel stretches for 530 meters. Notably, it remained undiscovered until 2005, when it was accidentally found. After its discovery, the Bourbon Tunnel was transformed into a tourist attraction.

The tunnel houses equipment that has corroded over time due to the effects of aging. Additionally, the tunnel features a reservoir that is presumed to have been used as a water source during times of war.
