Plaza de Cibeles

Plaza de Cibeles is one of the most important tourist landmarks in Madrid and one of the most famous squares in Spain.

Plaza de Cibeles is known for its magnificent design and the historic buildings surrounding it. In the center of the square stands a statue from the 17th century, which is a memorial to fertility and prosperity in the Greek era. The statue is surrounded by a massive fountain.

The square contains several tourist sites such as the Old Post Office Museum, the Telegraphic Heritage Museum, and the Cybele Palace. Additionally, it has numerous shops for shopping, as well as restaurants and cafes.

Plaza de Cibeles is also a place where celebrations are held for the victories of football teams in Madrid.
