Ochinen Lake

Oeschinen Lake is an incredibly distinctive lake that was classified by UNESCO as one of the best places to visit in 2007. It is located near the town of Kandersteg, which is part of the Swiss capital city Bern.

Oeschinen Lake derives its water from groundwater sources situated beneath the surrounding mountains. One of the most breathtaking sights when visiting the lake is the picturesque view of the convergence of the lake and the mountains. If you lift your gaze, you'll see the glacier-covered peaks, and as you lower your sight, you'll behold the lake. To reach the lake, visitors often take a cable car and then walk for about four kilometers to witness these enchanting natural landscapes.
