Todga Strait
In the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains, about 20 kilometers from the center of the town of Toudgha in the province of Souss-Massa-Draâ, Morocco, lies the Todgha Gorge. Here, nature alone plays a role in attracting tourists from around the world. It's a series of canyons and valleys that draw adventure enthusiasts and mountain climbers. The area's elevation above sea level is approximately 1500 meters, filled with branching valleys from the Todgha River.
The Todgha Gorge region is characterized by rocky mountainous terrain, with desert vegetation scattered throughout the area, including cacti and palm trees. Additionally, local authorities provide the service of tourist guides in various languages such as English, French, and Spanish. Visitors are advised by authorities not to explore the area without a tourist guide due to the dangers of high altitudes and rockslides.
