Ras Mohammed Reserve
Ras Mohammed Nature Reserve is a protected natural area located in the South Sinai Governorate, approximately 12 km² away from Sharm El Sheikh, within the Arab Republic of Egypt. It borders both the Gulf of Aqaba to the east and the Gulf of Suez to the west.
The Ras Mohammed area is renowned for its coral reefs, making it a popular destination for visitors coming to the Arab Republic of Egypt. In addition to its coral reefs, visitors can enjoy swimming and relaxation on the beaches, with a stunning view of the meeting point of the two gulfs at the entrance of the reserve. Many visitors also enjoy wave surfing near the reserve, thanks to the beautiful waves close to the shore.
Ras Mohammed Reserve is a haven for diving enthusiasts due to the abundant coral reefs that thrive in the area at the meeting point of the two gulfs. The view from above is also breathtaking, as it resembles a massive crown closely attached to the rocks.
