Brussels

Brussels, officially known as the Brussels-Capital Region, is located in the north-central part of Belgium. It represents the largest urban area in the country and serves as a center for economic and international political activities. Brussels is also considered the capital of the European Union, hosting several EU institutions and the headquarters of NATO.

Administratively, Brussels is divided into seven administrative regions and comprises nineteen municipalities with an area of 33,000 square kilometers. Its population exceeds one million people, with the majority speaking French alongside Dutch.
